San Diego

Mid-April we took a trip to San Diego, just our little family, it was SO nice!!  The first day we went to Downtown San Diego and hung out, we wanted to go on this naval ship but they closed before we got there.  We walked around for a while and watched all the little street shows and then went to dinner.  Cam taught us a beautiful lesson while we were there.  In downtown San Diego there were many homeless people, and friendly as Cam is, he smiled his biggest smiles and waved to each and every man and woman we passed.  And probably for the first time, Matt and I did too.  We were very blessed by the way he loves so equally and openly. 

That is how Jesus intends for us to love.  It's amazing how such a little guy can open our eyes to such an important lesson.

Saturday we went to Sea World, and as a gift form my parents we had breakfast with Shamu.  That was such a neat experience.  We were sitting having breakfast when I took this picture, the killer whales were that close!  Apparently our table and about 3 others were in a "splash zone"  luckly we didn't get wet.  Cam hardly ate... he wanted to stand on the table the entire time to watch the "dol-dol's"  (dolphins)

This is Matt and Cam coming out of a polar bears cave.  He had to go in with his daddy because the polar bears growl is pretty loud!
Here we're touching the star fish.   Cameron was very interested in everything.  He wanted to touch and experience as much as he could.  It was very sweet.  Cameron's favorite part of the day was the Pet show, he loved the pups and kitty cats running all over the stage.
