He's a floater!

So today Cameron had his swimming lesson. He was doing pretty well, as usual he splashed and played until it was time to do "pass backs", that is when we have to pass them under water. Surprisingly he did pretty well, he didn't cry as much as he usually does (daddy makes it a priority to join us every week because he knows how nervous mommy gets when Cam is freaking out). So it came time for the swim teacher to come and work with Cameron. I passed him under water to her and she tapped him to coax him to turn face up, she held him there for a minute or two once he was somewhat calmly floating she let go and HE ACTUALLY FLOATED! All by himself, and he wasn't bobbing at all, he was floating on the surface of the water! Matt and I were stoked!! We got a little closer and she says "Look at him he's doing great" Eeek, in my excitement "can I pick him up and celebrate?" Swim teacher lady said "No, he's floating let him float." He floated for probably a minute, which is a long time when a 6 month old is doing it! (Audrey!) Anyway, we're so proud of our little guy! He's a floater!
